This site was set up by the Ministry of Economic Development to

HIBISCUS PALMS MOTEL
is located within easy distance to the local Orewa shops,
restaurants and cafes. We are just across the road from
Orewa's main beach and the Kinloch Park reserve, and a short
drive to the Waiwera hot pools, Gulf Harbour and the
Peninsula Golf Course. Convenient location for ferry to

Where is Orewa?
Orewa is just 20 north of Auckland.
Take the motorway north and get off at the Silverdale junction, turn
right onto State Highway 1 for about 5 km and you'll reach Orewa.

Sometimes the sea murmurs, and sometimes it roars. You see kids
building sandcastles as high as themselves, and a lone fisherman
dreaming of Marlin. Walk up to the lookout above the beach in the
morning and see the sunlight break over the waves and cliffs.
